Hi! We’re Resolution Psychotherapy, a team of mental health counselors who believe in personal empowerment. In therapy with us, you can expect multiculturally competent counseling that puts you in the driver’s seat. We provide personalized treatment that is tailored to meet your specific mental health needs. Clinical Supervisor

Monique specializes in helping people heal from trauma, overcome anxiety, and triumph over self-doubt. Her clients include those recovering from sexual assault and other interpersonal violence, current and former service members, as well as LGBTQIA folks and other members of marginalized groups coping with systemic oppression. She uses many different approaches to support clients in their healing, and tends to focus on EMDR, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, feminist therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy. Monique is a Red Cross-certified Disaster Mental Health First Responder and has completed training with the Center for Deployment Psychology. She currently chairs the board of the Dutchess County Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse and consults for the Victims Subcommittee of the Dutchess County Criminal Justice Commission. Monique is a certified trauma-sensitive yoga instructor and a trauma-sensitive mindfulness instructor.

Monique accepts Aetna and Fidelis coverage. Her out-of-network fee is $125 per individual session or $75 for group sessions, with out-of-pocket discounts available for group sessions if needed. As of Fall 2021, Monique is currently accepting new clients for short-term adjunct EMDR therapy only. Kim uses an integrative approach in her work with clients, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness-based therapy to provide an individualized therapeutic experience. She works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, relationship issues, sexual abuse, and issues common to service members and their families..
Kim believes in providing a nonjudgmental space that allows her clients to work on life challenges by tapping into their innate courage and self-compassion. She sees clients ages 16 and older. As of January 2022, Kim is not accepting new clients, but please check back soon for updates. Kim accepts Fidelis and Cigna coverage, and her out-of-pocket per-session rate is $80.

Thomas integrates cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and humanistic methodologies to help clients struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, and difficult life transitions. He is interested in helping clients live their values and reach their goals. For some, that may mean working on symptom reduction so they can get back to focusing on what's important to them. For others, it may be a process of personal development and meaning-making. Thomas sees clients ages 18 and older, and he is currently accepting new clients as of late January 2022. Mary specializes in counseling individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, vicarious trauma, grief, relationship issues, and issues specific to current and former service members and their families. She often uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy to support her clients in their healing journey. Mary sees clients ages 18 and up. She accepts Fidelis and Cigna coverage, and her per-session rate is $80.
